is an ideal location to study coastal and nearshore environments.
The Marine Geology Working Group includes faculty and students involved
in dynamic projects in Maine and at remote locations. Current research
includes beach monitoring and evolution, sea-level change, and nearshore
mapping in locations as diverse as the Gulf of Maine, Newfoundland, and
